COVID-19 is in Hawaii. We have closed Lanai Cat Sanctuary to the public until further notice. We will continue to monitor the ongoing situation and follow the guidance of federal and state officials and health authorities.

We realize this indefinite closure may have a devastating impact on our nonprofit which relies on the generosity of visitors who donate to fund our work. Our operations will boldly continue in which we provide care and medical services to more than 630 cats who reside with us.

We ask that you please help us during this time of uncertainty. Our operation requires $29,000 per month to operate. With no visitor funding anticipated, we need you now more than ever. Our medical team has committed to continue to brave travel to Lanai from Oahu to ensure care is not interrupted. Our employees remain devoted and will be coming every day to provide essential care, as well as, the socialization and playtime that visitors have been providing.

Please sponsor a cat today if you can. Send love and good wishes to our 630 Lanai lions.

Mahalo for your kokua. You’ll be the first to know once we reopen.
